Ghost Hunts

We will have four ghost hunts after the Spirit Fest paracon closes down on Oct. 3rd. The cost for the ghost hunts is an additional $15.00 and is not included in the admission price to the paracon. We are capping each ghost hunt at 10 participants, so you won't be crowded out of enjoying yourself. We will also have a liability waiver that you will be required to sign before you can join one of the ghost hunts.

The ghost hunts will be from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m., after which the hotel will be closed except for the members of the SRT team. All four have openings at the time we are posting this, and we will note when each one fills up.

• Mineola Chamber of Commerce Building
• Mineola City Cemetery
• The 1888 Building (Upstairs only)

All participants will be asked to sign off on the rules before the hunts begin.  To see the full list, click here. 

This year we will be issuing different colored armbands for the paid participants of the hunts. Make sure that you do not lose it.  No arm band, no hunt.

All participants are encouraged to bring small equipment (evp meters, camera's, etc.)  There an be no big setups (like a bunch of cameras attached to a DVR system), but we will have some equipment with us as well.  Also, make sure you bring your own flashlight.

ONE THING WE WANT TO MAKE TOTALLY CLEAR BEFORE YOU PURCHASE A TICKET FOR ONE OF THE GHOST HUNTS. THERE WILL BE ABSOLUTELY NO TAUNTING OR PROVOKING DURING ANY OF THESE GHOST HUNTS. IF YOU DO SOMETHING LIKE THIS, YOU WILL BE ORDERED — NOT ASKED, ORDERED — TO LEAVE IMMEDIATELY AND THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS.
